2010 World Cup: South Korea vs. Greece

This match is for the obsessed. If your bed is still warm, return. The Greeks will relive the “magic” of Euro 2004. They have the same coach, many of the same players and the same cynical, defensive system. Eleven men will park themselves behind the ball, waging an assault on aesthetics. South Korea have a cohesive, technical, passing game, with talented midfielders, such as Bolton’s Lee Chung-Yong. However, they are missing a world-class striker to cut through the Greek ranks. Neither team is versatile enough to change.
This should be 90 minutes of perfunctory dry humping, with any consummation an unexpected surprise. Prediction 0-0. [Photo via Getty]
