Microsoft Kinect, the controller free, motion sensing gaming system previously named Project Natal was revealed during this year’s E3.
The device, created for the Xbox 360 will be released this November and will most likely boost the console sales for the holiday season.
Kinect promises to transform the gaming experience, allowing gamers to leave the classic button oriented controllers behind and play freely. The system recognizes not only body movement, but also facial gestures and sounds.
A yoga simulator, a sword fight game, a virtual pet game and a dance simulator were among the most interesting games presented at E3, designed with Kinect in mind.
Competing motion sensing controllers from Sony, the Move and Nintendo, the WiiMotion Plus will also be released at the E3.
