Alex Rodriguez has hit the 600th home run of his career in the game his team, the New York Yankees, played at home against the Blue Jays.
As we said, Alex Rodriguez is the youngest to reach this milestone. He is 35 years old and now joins a very select company, including Babe Ruth, which got to 600 home runs when he was 36. He managed to get 714 in his whole career.
This was Alex Rodriguez’s 17th home run of the season.
Also close to getting this performance are Jim Thome (he has 577 so far). He is the closest of the active players to this great milestone.
